Questions
How is the projection worked out?
Kalshi prices each step of a player’s stats: 1+ catch, 2+, 3+ and so on. Each price is the chance he gets there. Add the prices up and you get the average number of catches the market is pricing. Example: 99¢ for 1+, 92¢ for 2+, 82¢ for 3+, 71¢ for 4+, 54¢ for 5+, 38¢ for 6+, 24¢ for 7+, 14¢ for 8+ and 7¢ for 9+ add up to 4.8 catches. Yards work the same way, with each price counting for the yards between its step and the next.
How is share of team counted?
His projection divided by the total for every teammate Kalshi lists. Players with no Kalshi market, usually deep backups, aren’t counted, so shares lean slightly high.
Why isn’t every game here?
Kalshi opens player props a day or two before each game. Thursday’s game shows early in the week; Sunday’s games fill in through Saturday.
How often does it update?
Every five minutes, from live prices. Changes compare with Kalshi’s prices from the day before.
How does the Polymarket comparison work?
Polymarket lists one market per player, like Mitchell over 24.5 points. Kalshi lists steps (20+, 25+, 30+), so we work out Kalshi’s price for the same result from its steps on either side, then show both. When Polymarket is 4¢ or more cheaper for the same result, it shows under Cheaper on Polymarket.
