What is WIRE?
A live feed of the CS2 prediction markets. It logs every meaningful price move on Polymarket and Kalshi and points to WIRE PRO for our fair value against the price. Between moves it posts the tournament board, roster news and short notes on how CS2, markets and pick’em work.
What is WIRE PRO?
Our paid membership, $9.99 a week or $24.99 a month. It adds our fair value against the live price on every series we rate, the gap as it moves, a new number after every map, handicaps and total maps, and kill projections for every player. See WIRE PRO.
Which markets does WIRE cover?
Every game on the current slate, the tournament winner markets on Polymarket and Kalshi, roster change markets and the event props board. Games we do not rate are shown with prices only. The full props list is on PROPS.
How often does it update?
Prices are read every minute. A row posts when a price moves 3¢, crosses 25, 50 or 75¢, the favorite changes, a game is 90 minutes from starting, or a result comes in.
What does a price in cents mean?
It is the market’s chance. A contract at 51¢ pays $1 if it wins, so the market has that team at 51 percent. Our fair values are percentages too, so the two compare directly.

Our estimate of each team’s chance, built from the player ratings on CARNAGE and our series shapes. When the price and our number disagree, the gap is the thing worth looking at. Fair value lives in WIRE PRO. It is an estimate, not a promise.
What happens once a game starts?
The price keeps updating and the tab shows LIVE with the map score, which comes from Polymarket’s map markets and can settle a little after a map ends. After each map WIRE posts our updated series number if it differs from the price by 6 points or more. The tab shows FINAL once the result is in.
Why is part of a chart dotted?
No price was recorded for that stretch, usually because the page was closed and the history could not be loaded. Solid lines are recorded prices; dotted lines only join them.
Where do the prices and numbers come from?
Game prices come from Polymarket. Tournament prices come from Polymarket and Kalshi; if a Kalshi read fails, WIRE shows the last saved quote with its time. Fair values, ratings and series shapes come from the Game of Skill model, the same numbers as MARKET. Current rosters are on LINEUPS. Nothing here is a recommendation.
