FAQ
How are these Premier League power rankings made?
From prices, not opinions. Each club's rating is its average pre-game win price on Kalshi this season plus half its draw price, adjusted for how strong its opponents were, on a 0 to 100 scale where 50 is average.
How often do they update?
After every game settles on Kalshi, usually within a couple of hours of full time.
What is points vs expected?
A club's points (3 for a win, 1 for a draw) minus the points its pre-game prices added up to. Above zero means it has beaten what the market expected.
How is this different from the league table?
The table counts points. These ratings show how strong the market thinks each club is, adjusted for the opponents it has played, so they move before results show up in the table.
