Are these numbers final?

No. They update right up until each game starts. The model sets the baseline and a human reviews every slate before publish. Figures move as lineups confirm, news breaks, and prices shift. Check back close to game time.

What is RANGE?

RANGE is the Game of Skill outcome distribution view. Each game gets an outcome distribution, a series shape for best-of-three games and a single-map game shape for BO1, with every player on the slate laid out by CARNAGE rating. Built for reading the variance before taking a position.

What do the outcome bars show?

Best-of-three games split into four series outcomes: favorite 2-0, favorite 2-1, underdog 2-1, underdog 2-0. The 2-1 buckets are close to 40% of all BO3 results, so a "favorite 2-0" is a very different outcome from "favorite wins the series."

Single-map games split into four:

Favorite blowout · The favorite wins comfortably.
Favorite close win · The favorite takes a tight map.
Underdog close win · The underdog edges a tight one.
Underdog blowout · The underdog wins comfortably. Each team's two shares add up to its win probability.

The split derives from each side's win probability and team rating gap.

How do I read the player chips?

Every player on the slate appears as a colored chip, sorted by CARNAGE rating. Mint is top of slate, red is bottom, orange is the middle. The colors mirror the gradient on the CARNAGE table. Tap any game card to filter to the 10 players in that matchup.

How does RANGE connect to MARKET and CARNAGE?

CARNAGE rates the player. MARKET rates the game (GOS fair value vs prediction market prices). RANGE shows the distribution shape behind each game and the player landscape across the slate. CARNAGE for who, MARKET for whether the price is fair, RANGE for how the game is likely to play out. For each team's starting five and roles, see the lineups page.

Are these tradeable on prediction markets?

Series winners and map winners are listed on most CS2 prediction markets including Kalshi and Polymarket. The Game Shape buckets here aren't direct markets, but they map to related ones: "Favorite blowout" lines up with Map 1 Handicap or Total Rounds Under markets; "Close map" lines up with Total Rounds Over and Will Go To OT markets. See the CS2 apps page for which markets each platform offers.

Game of Skill publishes RANGE distributions before every major CS2 slate. Game shape distributions for every game, and every player on the slate ranked by CARNAGE.

For player ratings see the CARNAGE page. For game-level fair value vs prediction market prices see the MARKET scorecard. For the full Kalshi picks log see the Kalshi CS2 hub.
