WIRE is the Game of Skill live log for CS2 prediction markets. It records every price move, favorite change, and gap between our fair value and what a market is charging, across Polymarket and Kalshi. Between price moves it surfaces the tournament board, roster markets, and one entry at a time from the strategy guides, so a first-time reader can learn the terms while the board moves.
Which CS2 markets does WIRE track?
Tournament winners, every game on the current slate, roster change markets, Valve map pool questions and player props. The full board sits on PROPS.
How often do CS2 prediction market prices update?
Every minute. An entry posts when a price moves 3¢, crosses 25, 50 or 75¢, flips which side is favored, opens or closes a 3-point gap against our fair value, or a game is about to start.
What does a CS2 market price in cents mean?
It is the probability. A contract at 51¢ pays $1 if it hits, so the market is saying 51 percent. Our fair values are percentages, so the two compare directly.
Does WIRE show value once a game is underway?
Yes, between maps. We do not hold up the pre-game number, which is stale the moment a map is decided. We back a per-map strength out of it, apply the map score, and re-run the series from there. When that differs from the live price by 6 points or more, WIRE posts it.
Where do the CS2 prices and ratings on WIRE come from?
Prices come from Polymarket and Kalshi. Fair values and ratings come from the Game of Skill model, the same numbers on MARKET, CARNAGE and RANGE. Nothing here is a recommendation.
Does WIRE compare Polymarket and Kalshi prices?
Yes. The same CS2 outright trades on both, often a few points apart. WIRE shows each price and posts an entry when the gap reaches 3 points, naming the cheaper buy.
