What are CFB futures?
Markets that settle after more than one game: the national champion, College Football Playoff spots, conference champions, the Heisman Trophy, and team and player questions. Each outcome is a yes or no contract.
How do the prices work?
A Yes share pays $1 if it happens and nothing if not, so the price reads as a chance: 25¢ is about 25%. On boards like the National Championship, each team is its own contract, so prices don’t add up to 100.
How often do these update?
Every five minutes while the page is open, from Polymarket and Kalshi. New markets appear when listed; settled ones drop off. The small number beside a Polymarket price is its 24-hour move.
Where do I trade these?
Polymarket US and Kalshi, both CFTC-regulated and open to US traders in most states. Each board shows Polymarket US in green and Kalshi in blue when both list it. If Polymarket US doesn’t load, the page shows Polymarket’s international prices and says so. Compare them: Kalshi vs Polymarket.
Why are Kalshi and Polymarket prices different?
They’re separate exchanges with separate traders, so one team can be 12¢ on one and 14¢ on the other. Gaps of 3¢ or more are highlighted. Fees, and how much is available at that price, still differ.
