The CS Lineup Shuffle: Aurora Rebuild & More
The past couple of weeks have reshaped a good chunk of the CS2 map. Several teams tore down and rebuilt, and a chain of transfers moved players between rosters.
Here is what changed and what it means.
Aurora rebuild
Aurora went through the deepest overhaul. MAJ3R stepped down as in-game leader and soulfly was benched, leaving the team without a caller.
Jimpphat has been signed to strengthen the rifle core alongside XANTERES and Wicadia, but the IGL seat is still empty. There are rumors that kyxsan will soon be announced as the in-game leader, and if that comes to fruition, Aurora will be looking very strong heading into another busy part of the season.
BC Game Making Moves
BC Game have locked in Magisk as the new IGL and have also made Senzu a permanent part of the lineup.
The team is looking pretty strong now: s1mple, Senzu, Magisk and electronic is a very talented and experienced foursome, and I’m eager to see who the fifth will be. This should easily be the best version of BC Game we’ve seen since the organization entered the CS scene.
HEROIC reload
HEROIC made some moves too. yxngstxr stepped down and xfl0ud was benched, opening two spots. They signed MartinezSa from Gentle Mates as the new AWP and also brought on Brollan, who was benched by MOUZ. The five is now Chr1zN, MartinezSa, nilo, Brollan, and susp. A dedicated AWP and a proven rifler give them a more dangerous squad than the version that struggled through the last stretch.
xfl0ud landed at FUT, who had just benched lauNX, and drops straight into their rifle trio with dziugss and dem0n. Meanwhile, MOUZ are left searching for their fifth.
Around The Scene
SAW returned with a full Portuguese roster around MUTiRiS in-game leading and story on the AWP, backed by ewjerkz, krazy, and NOPEEj.
Eternal Fire have assembled a mixed international group with MisteM calling and regali on the AWP. They added br0 and Kvem to the rifle group, with jottAAA still on loan from Aurora. Pretty skilled and experienced team on paper, but chemistry will decide how far it goes.
Luminosity are back in CS2 after acquiring the Monte core, with lux stepping in as in-game leader.
100 Thieves added Gizmy to call after benching Ag1l, with rain moving back to his customary rifler role. fnatic added cairne, while MIBR, FaZe, G2, 3DMAX, and EYEBALLERS each ran a single-player swap to sharpen their rotations.
