Underdog Fantasy, now going by Underdog, is a daily fantasy sports pick'em platform. The format is simple: Underdog sets a projection for each player stat (kills for CS2, goals or shots on target for soccer), and you pick higher or lower. Pick between two and six players, get them all right, and you win a multiplied payout based on how many picks you made.

It is not a sportsbook and it is not traditional salary cap DFS. You are making a judgment call on whether a specific player will go over or under their projection for a specific event. That format rewards exactly the kind of detailed player and role knowledge that comes from actually following a sport closely.

Five and six picks require going perfect on a longer card which is difficult even with strong CS2 knowledge. Three picks at 6x hitting at 55% accuracy is profitable long-term. Four picks at 10x requires better than 50% accuracy to stay ahead, which is realistic with real CS2 knowledge but requires being selective about which slates you enter.

Underdog is the right starting platform if you are new to CS2 or soccer pick'em. The depth of coverage means you will never open it before a major event and find nothing to play. Underdog is not the right platform to use alone. Sleeper posts projections on many of the same CS2 and soccer players and the numbers differ regularly. A player at 19.5 kills on Underdog might be at 21.5 on Sleeper for the same series. Those are completely different picks. Checking both before every slate costs nothing and consistently produces better results.
