Betr Picks Review 2026
Betr is the app you open second. Here is what it does that the others don’t, and why the second number beats the app you prefer.
Reviewed September 2026 by Game of SkillThe case for an account is number shopping. The same player in the same series gets a different line on Betr than on Underdog. 19.5 kills in one app and 21.5 in the other are not the same pick, and one of those numbers is wrong. Checking both takes two minutes.
New users get $200 in no-sweat entries.
CodeSKILLThe only format decision on the app, and the one place people cost themselves money.
| Format | What It Does | Use It When |
|---|---|---|
| Perfect Play | Every pick has to land | 2 to 4 picks, all solid |
| Dynamic Play | Pays with up to two misses, lower multiplier | 5 to 6 picks, one is a reach |
Flex formats do not lower the bar, they move it. You pay for the safety net out of the payout, so a Dynamic entry still needs a hit rate well above a coin flip on every leg. The format is a variance tool, not an edge.
Every extra leg multiplies the payout and multiplies the ways the entry dies. Reaching for a sixth pick you do not believe in because the multiplier looks good is the most expensive habit in pick’em. Cut the leg or switch to Dynamic. Do not lengthen the card.
What actually shows up when a tournament is running.
Betr lists CS2 kill props on the major events. During BLAST, IEM, ESL Pro League and the Major there is usually a board. It is thinner than Underdog and not every series gets a line, so it is the second opinion, not the card.
Map count is where the soft numbers are. A player in a series that goes the distance gets roughly a third more map time than one who gets swept, and posted kill numbers do not always move with the shape of the series. That is the gap CARNAGE and RANGE are built to show.
Strengths
Available in states where several larger pick’em apps are not
Dynamic Play is the cleanest miss-two format in pick’em
Lines differ from Underdog often enough to be worth the check
Live entries stay open after a game starts
Weaknesses
CS2 board is thinner and not every series gets a line
Entries are mobile only, the desktop site barely functions
Projections do not fully price map count, so you adjust yourself
Multipliers sit below true odds, same as every pick’em app
Entries are mobile only. Check state availability inside the app before you deposit, since the list changes.
Verification takes a few minutes. Debit clears instantly, ACH takes one to three business days. No minimum deposit.
Pull the same player up on Underdog. If Betr has 26.5 and Underdog has 27.5, only one of those is worth taking.
Build the card first, then decide. If every leg survives being questioned, go Perfect. If one does not, go Dynamic or cut it.
Two different questions, two different edges, same slate.
Pick’em asks whether one player clears one number, and the entry locks once it is in. A prediction market prices who wins the series and stays tradeable until it settles. Those are separate edges and they do not turn up on the same nights.
A slate can carry a badly priced favourite and not one soft player number, or the exact reverse. Running both is coverage, not diversification. MARKET publishes our series fair values against live prices, CARNAGE and RANGE cover the player side.
The platforms we hold accounts with and actually use.
| Platform | Type | CS2 | Offer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Underdog | Pick’em | Deepest player board | Up to $1,000 bonus cash |
| Kalshi | Prediction market | Series and tournaments | $25 on a $25 trade |
| Betr | Pick’em | Major events | $200 in no-sweat entries |
| Rebet | Peer to peer | Event based | 100% match up to $100 |
| Novig | Prediction market | No CS2 yet | $25 on a $10 deposit |
Novig is a CFTC regulated exchange in 47 states and worth an account now, but CS2 is not live on it yet.
Yes. A licensed daily fantasy operator run by Betr Holdings, based in Miami and founded in 2022.
On the majors, yes. Thinner than Underdog and not every series gets a line, so use it as the second number rather than the whole board.
A flex format that still pays with up to two misses, at a lower multiplier. It buys a floor by selling ceiling. Worth it when a long card holds a leg you are reaching for, and not worth it when every leg is solid.
It runs in states where several larger pick’em apps cannot, and the list moves. Check inside the app before depositing rather than trusting any third party page, this one included.
Both. A soft player number and a mispriced series are separate edges on different nights.
Betr Picks is the pick’em app Game of Skill keeps for number shopping and for the states where the larger apps cannot operate. Dynamic Play still pays with up to two misses at a reduced multiplier, CS2 lines appear on the major events, and entries are mobile only. New users get $200 in no-sweat entries with code SKILL.
