CS Asia Championships 2026: Opening Day Picks

The CS Asia Championships 2026 kicks off this week with eight BO1 games running late Tuesday night into Wednesday for those in the USA. We’ve got a strong field to dissect, one that includes heavy hitters like Falcons, Mousesports, MongolZ, PARIVISION and more.

The best-of-one format drastically increases variance, making the picks harder and the edges more interesting.

3DMAX vs MIBR, 11:00 PM ET Tuesday

Toss-up to start things up. I actually like MIBR’s chances here, as they’ve been trending in the right direction since LNZ came in as the in-game leader.

Too tough to trust Liquid right now. They’re just not playing that well. The best-of-one format helps, but PARIVISION is the better team.

This should be competitive and could go either way. xKacpersky is my favorite individual play in this matchup.

MongolZ have the edge, but Lynn Vision is capable of pushing them. Will probably stay away here.

Legacy vs NRG, 1:00 AM ET Wednesday

Hard to fade Legacy given they’ve been performing so well. That said, NRG as an underdog is enticing, as the ceiling is pretty high for this lineup.

MOUZ vs TYLOO, 1:00 AM ET Wednesday

Interesting opener! Mousesports had a solid debut with the new-look starting field but will be tested against JamYoung and company.

Falcons vs BC Game, 2:00 AM ET Wednesday

It’ll be fun to watch s1mple and Senzu go up against the mighty Falcons, who made a nice impression in their debut with karrigan. Falcons is the huge favorite.

While M80 has been disappointing lately, they may like their chances of toppling paiN. I’m staying away from M80 for the time being, though.
