My 5 Favorite Riflers in CS2 Right Now

Riflers do the heavy lifting in any given Counter-Strike game. The best of the best put up numbers regardless of map, role, or opposition.

Here are my five favorite riflers to watch right now:

1. donk (Spirit)

donk is the most skilled, dominant rifler in the world and it is not particularly close. The ceiling is unmatched and he routinely posts elite production on any given slate.

The scariest part is that donk is only 19 years old. How much better could he possibly get?

2. ZywOo (Vitality)

Yes, he is an AWPer. But ZywOo picks up a rifle more than any other elite sniper in the world, and when he does, the output is right there at the top.

Whatever weapon is in his hands, whatever role the map is asking of him, ZywOo tends to deliver. Putting him on a rifler list does not feel wrong, because he is that complete.

3. makazze (Na'Vi)

makazze has quietly become one of my favorite riflers to watch. He has become Na'Vi's primary offensive option and can perform regardless of whether the team is in control or chasing a series.

The confidence has grown noticeably over the last several months and the results have followed. makazze is the player most likely to bail Na'Vi out of a rough series, and that kind of reliability under pressure is rare to see for an inexperienced Tier 1 player.

4. MATYS (G2)

MATYS has fit into G2 seamlessly. He is fearless on entries and has real game sense on top of the mechanics, which is a combination you do not find often.

The ceiling is legitimately high for MATYS, even though G2 has some nice pieces surrounding him in NertZ and HeavyGod. You can feel the growth in confidence event over event, and G2’s style gives him the green light to break open tight maps.

5. kscerato (FURIA)

KSCERATO is one of the most consistent riflers in the world. FURIA asks a lot of him, and he shows up more often than not.

Despite FURIA falling short on home soil at IEM Rio 2026, KSCERATO was still excellent individually. He’s one of the most well-rounded riflers in Counter-Strike.

Honorable mentions: flameZ, ropz, Spinx

flameZ is overshadowed by ZywOo and ropz at Vitality, but the aggressive production is genuinely elite when you watch the games. ropz is Mr. Consistent and has proven to be a dream fit during the team’s historic trophy-generating run.

Spinx has been one of my favorite DFS targets for months and has been strong against top opposition. He has been MOUZ’s most reliable piece during a stormy period for the team.
