Fissure Playground 3: Day Two CS2 Picks
The FISSURE Playground group stage has reached its second round with eight best-of-three series running from 11 PM ET Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Round one delivered some upsets, including Alliance over FaZe and MIBR over The MongolZ.

The MongolZ vs 5Star
The MongolZ lost their opener to MIBR and now get the softest landing on the board. 910 is the highest projected player on the entire slate, close to a coin flip on his own to lead this game in kills. cobrazera continues to stand in for Techno. 5Star are the lowest rated team here by quite a large margin.

FaZe vs Magic
Two teams that lost their openers, FaZe to Alliance. frozen is still the best individual in the game and rates as one of the top players on the slate. magic have more behind their star than the price implies though, and tenzy has been carrying a real share of the load. We have this near a coin flip and the market does not.

9z vs MIBR
9z run through the rifling duo of luchov and dgt, and they were comfortable in their opener. MIBR arrive off the upset over The MongolZ and insani is the single most likely player in this game to lead the frag count. This is about as even as the board gets.

Legacy vs Alliance
Legacy own the top three rated players in this game, with dumau and latto both sitting at 90 and try behind them on the AWP. While Alliance picked up a great win over FaZe on day one, I don’t see them toppling Legacy here.

G2 vs BIG
G2 have four of the top five rated players here, led by HeavyGod. BIG opened with a 2-0 loss to BetBoom and need a big one from blameF, still one of the best fragging in-game leaders in CS. Ultimately I think G2’s depth will prove too much in this spot.

GamerLegion vs TYLOO
The tightest game on the board and a genuine coin flip. REZ is the top rated player on either side and FL4MUS has been growing into a second option beside him. It’s possible Grashog will still be standing in for Snax, so make sure to check on that news. TYLOO answer with JamYoung, an outstanding rifler who can win a map by himself.

FURIA vs PARIVISION
This is a fun one and looks closer on our numbers than it looks on the price. FURIA was a bit shaky in their opener against a GamerLegion squad playing with a stand-in, while PARIVISION looked sharp in a 2-0 dismantling over TYLOO. Wouldn’t be surprised to see an upset for Jame and company here.

BetBoom vs Astralis
BetBoom were one of the most convincing teams of round one and Magnojez is one of the highest rated players in the entire field, projecting to lead this game in kills by a clear margin. Another near coin flip with a slight lean to BetBoom.
